Damn that is one of the nicest looking cars I have ever seen and a real bargain for the price.
Top speed : 149mph
MPG: 19 - 28
0-60: 4 seconds
You also get leather racing seats a 6cd changer stereo and another 2 seats in the back.
Thats the premium GT version which is only $25000
When I get to 25 and my insurance goes down I'm importing one of these 350 horsepower beasts 8)
Hear that 4.6 litre V8 roar

I thought they only had 300hp.
I must admit they sure look nice though. At first I didn't like them but then I went to the local auto exbo in which all the new dealer cars were on display and I got to take a good long look at one from all angles (OK, it was a V6 verison-but who cares, it still looked cool). Dispite the ugly color of this one, I was really impressed. I think its the first Ford car I have ever really liked. If I was going to buy a new car, it would be a Mustang over anything else (based soley on looks, I think it beats both the new Viper and Corvette).

HELL YEAH
You hear that they are going to race them in the 24 hours of Daytona? Excited to see what they can really do and for how long

Yup ......... lovely soggy undercarriage. Fantastic to drive on long straight roads. I was lucky enough to hire one of the older Mustangs on a holiday in Canada a few years ago. I was lucky not to be jailed for speeding......

I recall that when they tested it out on Topgear they made a point of finding the longest, straightest road in the country to test it out on. Sure they liked it, but only because of it's looks. Handling wise it was a pig.

the GT is slower than that (5.2 seconds to 60), hopefully the SVT version will be that fast

This new pony should have a stiffer suspension that should translate into better handling than before.

The reason the handling is so poor is due to the weight distribution. The front end is extremely heavy compared to the rear (this doesn't help by the back end being so short). This is a common trend amoung US sports cars.

With all that power it goes only 149Mph (238Km/h). Or it is electronically limited to that speed? Usually they put a brake at 250Km/h 156Mph.
