I'm currently using a Sapphire 9600 Atlanis card but feel the time has come to upgrade a little.
I've found a Canyon Radeon 9800 pro 128mb for £101 online,9800 pro's usually go for £130+.
Question is I've never heard of Canyon though they do have a web site
http://www.canyon-tech.com/products/show.cfm/Video/bShowAll

Does it really matter which company produces the card,Sapphire Abit etc etc
Seems like a good deal and I'm really tempted. What do you guys think?

Cheers. Revol

My preference would be to save up another £40-£50 and go for an Nvidia 6600GT.

You can get a 6600GT AGP card for £135-£150

I thought the 6600gt was a pci-e card not an agp?
Do pci-e cards work in normal pci slots? I have an Asrock k7s8xe mother board btw.

A PCI-E card will not fit a AGP slot.   However there is a 6600GT AGP card available now.

I agree with revol.

For its price, the 6600 gt beats all other cards in terms of performence. There is a AGP versian available. It is highly recommended over a 9800 pro.

And PCI-e cards do not work in AGP slots.

Yup 6600GT AGP (I specifically checked for AGP cards) available at www.overclockers.co.uk
