Good Evening,

I am attempting to have an operating canopy, clamshell-style, rearward-opening, on a military aircraft.  All parts pertaining to the moving portion of the canopy have been made child parts of the parent canopy, and it has also been provided with keyframe animation (*0 is closed, *100 is fully open - no animations in between).  The part itself has been called r_canopy using the drop-down window in the part properties box for keyframes.  I've tried all combinations of keyboard commands, nothing works - any ideas out there? Lips Sealed

use door_passenger instead?
or make sure you're using shift-E to activate the main exit.

*ding* - you also need an entry in the aircraft.cfg file

[exits] section
number_of_exits = 1
exit_rate.0 = 0.4

number_of_exits
This value defines the number of simulated exits, or doors, on the aircraft.

exit_rate.n
This value defines the rate, in percent per second, at which the exit articulates.  It is equal to 1/time, where time is time in seconds at which the exit moves from fully closed to fully open or vice versa.

That did it (both the door_passenger & aircraft.cfg info).  Thanks so much!!
