I saw this at work burried in the back with all the other scrap. Do you think it will be more trouble than what its worth or a good start to a King Air or similar (e.g. 99,1900 etc.?

...

Sorry about the quality but it was taken from my phone.

Well its been a While, But i got my hands on it it needs alot of work i need to fill holes round off some of the sharp edges, (so i dont poke my self lol) get some paint on it and i will be ready to go to work.

I have no sheet metal experience, but i have a firend who does LOL and plus we do Heavy airframe sheetmetal work, at work. So there is always scrap.

Now here is my question.

I recently got my hands on a Beech 99 TQ cover. which is identical to a King Air. I also have the CH TQ. Can I take that apart, build a TQ from scratch and use the workings from the CH TQ? i dont want to open the CH TQ and mess it up either.

I will get pictures up of all the progress on the shell.
Yep im one of those guys now LOL LOL

HaaaaaaarrrHarrrrrrrHarrrrr.    Wink

First it's the sim itself.  Then they add a joystick.  Then some freeware add ons.  Once they are enticed into a yoke and or rudder pedals........ the journey toward the "Dark Side" has started.  If they get a throtle quadrant the result is inevitable....... they end up HERE.

You have no idea of the power of the simpit.

Give in and rip open that CH quadrant and your journey to the "Dark Side" will be complete!  Take up your screwdrive and strike it down, my young apprentice.

best,

.................john

PS_  Yup canabalizing the CH quadrant is possible.  Of course you'll void your warrantee  Grin.
