I have been trying to design aircraft that i could not find in the downloads. I have a few models made but how do i make them useable in fs2004? i am designing them in gmax. i would also like to make them useable in fs98 for my grandfather is the prosses differant for the two fs'?

You need to install the FS2004 gmax gamepack from the microsoft site. Check the "Aircraft Design" sticky post above.

As for FS98, you cannot make aircraft for FS98 with gmax. Unfortunately, the program(s) with which to build for FS98 are no longer in print.
