Uninstall (Read 162 times)

I have tried to uninstall fs2002 because i got fs9. It always locks up when i try to go into the uninstall setup. Any comments?

First I have no idea why you can't uninstall FS2002. Several people have mentioned this recently & I can only suppose it's connected with WinXP which I have no knowledge of. If you really wish to uninstall FS2002 I can only suggest that you try installing it to the original location. Once install is completed it should uninstall.

Providing you have sufficient HDD space for both sims there's no reason to uninstall FS2002 unless you have no further use for it. FS9 is a completely separate program & will run quite happily alongside FS2002. Many people here, including me, use both.

Are you 100% certain it locks up?
For me when I uninstall either FS8 or FS9, it looks like it's locked up my system.
But in reality, it's taking sweet little time uninstalling at a snails pace.

That, or your cooling fan may be broken, which it was in my case. (Grin That was bad)
