Well I've finally broken down and paid for an aircraft.. Shocked
...

Yes it's the trusty ole PMDG 1900D.  A very well done model indeed.  Having spent 3+ years flying 1900D's in real life I can vouch for it's accuracy.  Thanks PMDG for a great little model.

This is also my first paint job.  I worked from the PMDG paint kit and came up with this little number.  After much frustration and lots of tweaking it's just about perfect.
...

About 125kts down final for a target speed and just a nice little flare and she settles right on.
...

I can't tell you how many passengers I saw take a dive off those steps Shocked  They are kind of steep, especially for the older generation!!!
...

Just remember for all those Beech pilots out there, real and virtual, CHICKS DIG BETA !!!

BAH!

Why are there no 1900C models built that nicely? That way I could repaint it in Frontier colors!

The PMDG Beech is a bargain payware plane.  I think it worked out to be about £8 when I brought it when it first came out.  Great value for money.

Ya it is a great bargain at $15 US.  Nowadays thanks the exchange rate it is probably around 7 Euros or English Pounds I would think.  Good to be a European these days if you want to shop here in the U.S.

It's from PMDG Software and has a VC and non VC models.

I'm currently flying the EMB-135/145/145XR series of regional jets.  Whole different world than the non-autopilot, EFIS only equipped 1900D.

Naw, that's just a fictional one I've created for personal use.  I'm thinking about starting a virtual airline maybe.  That's just a paint scheme I'm playing around with.

This is a picture of my old ride.  I may have been in that very airplane when that picture was taken, who knows.  BTW the Beech was a blast to fly in real life even w/out an autopilot.  Gotta love a plane with way more power than you'll ever need.  1279 shp per engine and capable of 1600+ shp/engine in an emergency. Never even came close to taking off with full (firewalled) power.  But oh the noise from those props, I always thought we should have provided the customers with earplugs, that's the least we could have done.  Roll Eyes
