Something very unusual happened when i was flying IFR from Dublin (EIDW) - Heathrow (EGLL). I had just hit the glideslope on approach to Heathrow when a Quantas 747 appeared, descending approx. 0.2 miles in front of me. I continued on my approach with the 747 literally right in front of me when at the last second he was told to go around. I continued my approach to the runway despite the fact that an Alitalia DC-9 (i think) was making its exit off the runway, i barely missed the DC-9 and wondered what the hell is up with my FS Traffic

Yea quite normal for Heathrow... but they also use two runways one for landing and one for departing... However same thing has happened to me... Once I hit an aircraft in a mid-air collition and the tower didn't even give me the Traffic Alert... Not only that but it's made me go around 5 times during the same flight, so I finally just got landing clearance for a nearby airport... stuff like this will happen in FS, you just gotta be a good sport and be patient...

The same thing happened to me at Anchorage (PANC). 2 planes were just staying on the runway. I went around till I ran out of fuel and crashed into them!
