hi all, not sure if ive posted this in the right topic.... but what does 'framerate locked at 40 fps' mean? i know about frames per second, but its the locked bit i dont understand. is this something you do or does the comp do it? cheers  Smiley

I think it just limits the frame rate for your system to achieve - ie the system won't try to get anything over 40fps, or whatever you set it to. Normally 25+ is good in my experience...

Generally I don't use framelocks. There's no real use for it unless you are on a very low end machine.

It might be a good idea to turn on v-sync though. Think of that a dynamice fps locking.
