Hi all,
My first attempt at a true weathered aircraft,  8)
Its still in the psp hangar, but u get the idea, tails all mucked up cause i forgot that the C172 simply just copies the texture from one side to the other. Shocked
Please post your thoughts.  Wink

Here are a couple ideas I was maybe gonna do:

Have a part of the aircraft (the rudder works good because it only mirrors itself) look like it came off another 172.

If you did the rudder, you could paint the bottom of the tail-cone section a new white, as if it had a repaird tail-strike or something. Or if you didn;t do the rudder, maybe have the bottom half of the cowl painted a new white, like it was damaged previously. I see that all the time here in Alaska.

I think it looks really good so far, especially for a first try.  I have made several attempts to modify textures and none of the have ever turned out even close to that.

Also, welcome to the SimV forum!
