It depends what you are looking for. I happen to like the Otter from here. If you are looking for something different look over at Project Skyworks. They are making the jet powered amphibian, the Beriev Be-200. Their website is

My Volpar On Amphibs isn't too bad if I say so Myself... As for the Berriev.... COOL!! now I can take that one out of my "To do" pile.

I've been rattleling that thought around myself... the original was a challenge to myself to see if I could make a complete flyable aircraft in one day ( I did it too )... thats why it's pretty basic. If I do a new one it will be considerably more work.

Each new one is considerably more work, for me.
Seriously, it is a fine concept. I particularly like the ventilated stepless hull. One of those 'so obvious, I could have thought of that' but, of course, I never did.
I hope you do have another go at it. Just remember us FS2002 users....
