Here's a few shots from our Hendon trip that Ozzy missed.

Now I ask you. Would you trust this lot near one of your aeroplanes, let alone a whole collection of them? Now you can see just what I had to put up with all day. Undecided Grin
...

I had to put my camera on infra-red mode to catch these two reprobates plotting to purloin that lump of Merlin. (Not really but the lighting was terrible. That's my excuse anyway. Wink)
...

I'm still trying to figure out how Tony managed to get in the gunner's position - or how he got out again. Roll Eyes Wink
...

Here's a slightly better shot of that nice Me 262.
...

Here's one I posted in the Cafe in case you missed it. Ozzy drooling over another Merlin. Honestly, you need eyes in the back of your head. Shocked Roll Eyes
...

I lightened up Mark's shot of Tony & me playing silly wotsits just after I did my best to demolish the place. Shocked At least you can see it's us now. 8)
...

A beautiful sunset from the museum car park. If you look closely you can see a replica Spitfire & Hurricane.
...

A very enjoyable trip & a lot of laughs. Thanks chaps for a wonderful day out. Grin

PS. I'm not sure they'll let me back in there in a hurry. Maybe I'd better leave it for a while or wear a disguise. 8)

The WW2 aircraft in pic #2 is slightly distubing, since it covers some parts of the nice Tornado. Wink
Same goes for shot 3. The poor Schwalbe....Grin

Is Ozzy stroking the engine? Did it purr?

And look at that spitfire... It's wings almost fit in the tail of the tornado... Boy, puts the planes in perspective.... Shocked

I was thinking that if Ozzy and the engine were reversed, it would be Ozzy doing the purring!

"Captain, suh, OMAG sighting, 1200 yds to port!"

"Very well Thorndyke, load the 5 inch guns with the spicy orange marmalade!"

"Sir!  You can't be serious!  NOT THE SPICY ORANGE MARAMALADE!"

"Thorndyke! Gather yourself, there are times when nothing but the most distasteful example must be made of these whippersnappers!"

You forgot lime & grapefruit. Tongue Wink

I have to agree with Woody. Most of the others would be jam (or jelly on your side of the big  puddle).
