Is there a way of being able to change the altitude that you warp at?  Most of the time it gives a good altitude but for some missions like a bomber pilot mission to attack ships it puts you at about 24,000ft and to hit a moving ship with a freefall bomb from that high is about as much of a chance of me sleeping with a super model!!  It is good for bombing buildings but not for ships.  and when you fly home it sometimes puts you at the same altitude right over your base and it takes a long time to descend to land.  My other question is has anyone noticed it is kind of easy and boring being a bomber pilot because I am about half way through a campaign(as long as i continue doing well) and I have not seen an enemy fighter plane once.  I usually am always a fighter pilot but I wanted to try something different.  One more question well more of a rant but I hate it that if your paint gets a scratch on it but you still land safely at home you run away from your plane and it blows up, then in the debriefing it says you crash landed your plane!  Anyways I am done now.  Cheers!!

I certainly tried to address these problems in the Missions I wrote for the B-17.

Using the Microsoft Mission Builder, I was able to put waypoints at sensible altitudes with regard to the waypoint function, so that when you warp, you're at the best altitude for the job. For landing I tried to put you on a distinct heading, lined up with the runway at 3000 ft, and at about 12 miles out to give you time to prepare for landing.
If the Bombing altitude was 20,000 feet, that's where I put you for the Bomb run.

It can be done, but you really need the Mission Builder to tweak those missions that give you stupid waypoint altitudes. That's single missions. If you're talking Campaigns, I'm sure you're stuffed, because the missions are sort of randomly generated, aren't they?

Now when we can figure out why you can't fly my mission pack, you'll get  a chance to test out what I did.
