HI,
i have somehow gotten this really annoying toolbar by a company called LOP. i went to their website to see how to get rid of it. i downloaded a "universal uninstaller" which supposedly gets rid of the toolbar. after uninstalling, the toolbar returns somehow. i really want to get rid of it. any ideas?

ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY VERY APPRECIATED!

Thanks,
Ashar

Try downloading Adaware and doing a full system scan then deleteing all that Junk it detects.... If that doesnt work try spybot....... and yet still if it remains, Ask around people will help you get rid of it.... I had 5 nasty trojans no Scanner would find till I asked! Cheers, Gunny

Do as Gunny stated, and if that still fails download a program called Hijack This.

Read the instructions! And know what you are removing before you remove it. HiJack This will list a lot of stuff and some of it is necessary for various functions of your computer. If your uncertain of something it is best to leave alone Wink

Also download a program called Stinger and run it following the easy instructions.

After all is said and done your PC should be free of disease Wink
