This was brought up once before and like Pete said, that is not what "takes up server space" here. Many people like to join to just read threads, look at shots, etc...
There really is no reason to delete somebody's account. Maybe one day they will post thus not needing to re-register.

Like Dave says ......

I rarely use forums - & those that I do use it could be 2 yrs between visits - I would be put out to see I had to register again to use it .... Besides you can't remove just members - you remove data - datewise. So posts would also be deleted. It was voted some time ago by our members to keep old posts if possible so they could be referred to. - & that means keeping old members too.

Simple as that ... & what does it matter if users aren't active? No skin off anyone's nose ....

Nope .... remember that nearly all involved in this site are not only over 30 but well over 30 -- I don't think us of that age group think along lines like that .....   Wink

As has been said many times -  numbers are irrelevant - being post count or member numbers. Many busy forums out there regularly clean out  old data - members & postings -  - Numbers mean nothing at all ....

Think Global. It's the world we live in.

What always amazes me is that dear old Hagar has a magic* way of instantly re-calling or referring to old posts from years ago....
I can never recall/remember a post I sent yesterday.... Roll Eyes... Cry...!

Lots of useful "stuff" in old posts from long, long ago...!

Cheers all...!
