I'm confuse here guys. Just saw a program called Active camera 2004. Now reading the profile it seems to do exactly what TrackIR pro but with the use of the mouse as I understand.
My question is, is it possible to use both or is it better just getting the TrackIR pro?

Apples and oranges.

AC lets you set up different angles for your shots.  (It does more than that, but that's the simple explanation.)

Track IR lets you move your head, which moves the point of view presented on screen.  I'm staying away from Track IR because no matter where you've got your HEAD pointed, the eyes still need to be on the monitor to see the result.   Wink

Thanks. I've noticed that in their demo. But the with active camera you still have to use the mouse or hat on joy stick or what-have-you to be able to turn your head.

I like the freedom IR offers but like you said, one has to always keep their eyes on the monitor. I'm assuming the company is a aware of this and I'm sure they have taken this into this. Then again, who knows.
