I is the smoke system key for those aircraft which have it. And there are technically no weapons in flight sim. Some aircraft have some animations of gunfire or rockets but they dont do anything to the scenery.

Sorry, I think one of the combat sims would be more suitable for that diehard, button mashing, system crashing, rocket shooting fan like you. Roll Eyes Unfortunately, Flight Simulators like FS9, FS8 and so on concentrate on the more realistic aspects of flying, IE learning the ILS approach or doing pleasure flying, whilst the Combat Flight Sims, (CFS for short) have weapons and other things. If your computer can handle it, I strongly suggest you get both games. One thing that is really cool about the CFS sims is that you can literally shoot other out of the sky in multiplayer. Smiley

Regrettably, they are just effects and don't affect other aircraft or scenery.  There are some pretty cool ones, and the master of effects design is here http://www.geocities.com/chris20005649/

Recently, a designer named Rob Barendregt has put together some interesting packages which incorporate light switches and sound - you might want to search for that name and take a look at some of the coding.
