Can't recall it's ID code, but try Diego Garcia.
Fairly lengthy runway at that base.

dunno if it's in FS2002, it's in 2004, but NASA's shuttle landing facility has a large runway.  Very wide.

I thought they got much longer than 10000.  Something like 15000 is the longest.  I don't know, that's what I heard???

NASA space shuttle landing facility (Titusville, X68 ) has a 15,028 ft (I think it's 28 ) runway in 2k4.  I should know, I practice emergency takeoff and landing procedures there 8)

And ya, a good example would be JFKs monster 14000' runway.  10000' is about average for a runway at a major airport (actually 9000' is, but whos lookin Tongue)

Boeings King Field has a nice long runway, and i know for a fact that you can land and T/o with that aircraft out of Bush Interconinental (KIAH) in Houston, when i use to live there that plane would come in at least once a week or once every two weeks, it was something else to see.

How about El Alto Airport, La Paz (Bolivia)? At 13.123 ft, maybe not the longest, but still impressive.

It's also one of the highest major airports, at an elevation of 13.313 ft....the only thing you have to do to land there is lower your landing gear.

Maybe so, but do you have any idea what it takes to TAKEOFF at that altitude!!!

I certainly do! I landed and took off there (as a passenger) in 1973 and in 1985 (in an Iberia DC-8-63 and a LAB B727-100 respectively) and I remember quite clearly that the aircraft took ages to become airborne. So maybe it's not the right airport for the AN225....

Not the longest in the world, but respectable for a Canadian airport - CYEG Runway 2/20 is 10980 ft. in length.  Also recall having read that the runway surface has been prepared in order to handle any type of traffic, weight-wise (we have the AN-124 here regularly).
