The "compass" view over the desert is Rogers Lake or a part of Edwards Air Force Base. Those are free addons that require kedwv1.zip and kedw101fix.zip. It's for FS2002 but I use it on FS2004. The lake fades away some miles out.
The aircrat carrier is from CARR2004a.zip. The one at Simviation is incomplete. Do a search over at Fsfreeware.com or
http://www.fsfreeware.com/cgi-bin/dcd_a/dcd.cgi?az=search for "Alejandro Villa" under the category FS2004/Scenery and it will be the second one. Some of the crew members needs to be resaved in another format on deck and one effects the elevation data in western Washington state. I toggle it on or off between use. Everything else work.
You can search for KEDW at the same link.
The Skyhawk is nearly all but retired and last I read was that a private company in the USA has purchased many for use in dogfight training. They have an international clientele. I saw the Blue Angels fly the Scooter at Lakehurst NAS many moons ago and I met someone last summer that was a Scooter driver in Vietnam for the USMC. Great plane indeed.
Cheers,
Gus
