Hey I got a ton of cash for Christmas and I want some aircraft and scenery. I dont get the best frames but they are great for what I have. The main thing I need to know is scenery. I would think that my fps would take a huge hit with some of this stuff. What can I get that wont take a hit on my fps. I like the fsgenises stuff.

Thanks,

Ben Smiley

I dont have any payware scenery, but as far as aircraft goes, on my system the FSD Piper Seneca, seems to be a little bit hard on my fps, as does the Eaglesoft Beechjet 400A, but the Carenado, and Dreamfleet/Flight1 products I have all seem to do quite well  Grin

Wings of Power! You get 11 Aircraft for 29.99 American, opposed to 1 plane for the same price with most other companies. ITS AMAZING! I got NO hit on my fps!

Thanks BigBaddSmurf and flyboy_14.

I'm considering Carenado. Looks nice. I already have WOP. I like it but flying those heavy bombers is'nt really my thing. Thanks though!! Smiley Smiley

Just a thought, and I admittedly don't know what you're looking to spend, but couldn't you conceivably spend that money on upgrading things to boost your frames first?  Then next year, like for a birthday or something, start adding planes and scenery?

Iron Knickles DC 9. Very easy on framerates.  FSD Commander 115.  Stay away from 747-200 RFP.  I have version one and its a frame drain, I don't know if its been more optimized in version 2 for FS9 although I know that the FS2002 version works in FS9.
I have WOP.  Hurts my frames so anyone who gets good frames with those bombers I'd love to know your settings.

Ben, if you are looking for a really nice package to fly around and take in some sights, the Aerosoft Beaver is excellent!!!!!
No frame rate issues, comes with over a dozen different models and is all in all, fun to fly!

Good luck and thanks for the message today, I appreciate it!!  Wink
