I am desperate to buy a new graphics card to get away from my onboard graphics, but being the low-end system my comp. is, it's only got PCI Undecided

I did some researching and from what I hear, the best 2 cards that one can buy for a PCI slot (that I can afford Tongue) are the
Radeon 9200SE and the GeForce FX5200.

Out of these two, which is the better card??
I've heard some good things about each card, and they both support DX9, so I was wondering which would make better graphics.  I don't care a lot about FPS, as long as the rate is above 25 or so...

TIA,
spit Smiley

FX5200 outta those two.  Avoid any ATI with SE at the end of its title.

What about the normal Radeon 9200 without the SE?

I saw a Visiontek Xtasy 9200 at tiger direct... is that better than the 5200?

The 9200 is a directx 8.1 card.

The fx5200 is a directx 9 card.  Go with the fx5200.
