Big boy stayin the night in SJC. In the morning there will be 3 of these three-holers out here. Very cool...

Awsome shots silver! Real close to the action!
Shot one: those 'r some small sticks for that big bird...
Shot two: Hunter and it's pray... Seems there was an awfull lot of time between the first and the second shot. The passengers were provided some food during this no?
Just kidding you. It looks like fun running about that airport all day. My girlfriend used to work at our national airport (EBBR). She'd only have to ask " can you come..." and i'd be in my car already racing towards it...
Anyhow! Have fun working there Silver!
Oh, and PS: A dork to me is someone not willing to work, sitting on his ass watching tv all day long, expecting to get paid social security-money raised by hard working people like us. You don't seem to comply with that!

Could be a high speed film, but the fan on the other side doesn't appear to be moving. So he might be alright. But if it is... Hrmm.

Haha no worries guys. He is standing exactly where he is supposed to. He's there so he can chock the tires as soon as it stops. There is a safety zone painted and an ingestion zone and it extends I think 13 feet from the engine when the plane comes to the stop mark. He doesn't enter the safety zone until I give the engines cut/clear to enter sign. 8)

Well then you have some time. You will have plenty of time to work for an airline before being a pilot for them can even become a reality due to your age.
Seriously, get in and learn the business as soon as you can by getting a job with an airline (which most airlines, would be when you turn 18 ). Especially a company like Southwest where they promote from within the company. They don't really consider it a corporate latter where all you can do is move up. Southwest gives employees the freedom to move up, down, left, right...whatever. It's nice to have your foot in the door...even if the door is only cracked open...it still a slight edge. Southwest has pilots that started as rampers. Southwest also has rampers that are millionaires. In a competative field, it helps to network and make connections. While there are plenty of ways and places to meet people and make connections, the access you have as an airline employee offers one of the best ways I can think of.
I wish more people with an interest in aviation would work for airlines. You'd be surprised...most people I work with are only there because it's a job..nothing more, nothing less. There's only a handful of guys that actually know, and care about airplanes and a couple that are like myself and there to either move up to pilot, or mechanic jobs.

Nice pics
I have thought about getting a job like that for awhile but it would probly be up at FWA sence without moving its the only one close enough to drive to. Only thing is it would all be small birds for the most part. CRJs and ERJs. Other then cargo there isnt much of the big ones. And not that many little ones eather. Not an overly busy airport yet though things are picking up some. Could try for Kitty Hawk Cargo. They have a good sized operation based there. Then there would be 727s all over. The biggest jet I have seen there yet was on Anet and that was an MD-11 Cargo i do believe. But most likely need to be 18 to work for any of them and ive got another 10 months to go
Out of curiosity how did you go about getting that job???
