hey guys,
ok i have a x-36 with a huge problem, when i installed the drivers(on my xp machine) the controllers work for like a minute then they just stop working all together. Or they will work the first time i open the controller menu. then when i close it and open it again everything stops working. Sometimes when it stops working and i hold the joystick to the left or whatever, after like 2 seconds the contoller position moves. So it refreshes ever 2-5 seconds. I have tried using sd-1.7 drivers and Dhauzimmer's Drivers both with the same problems. can anybody help?

SabreOne, are you using Gameport or USB?
I found a helluva deal on an X-36 on ebay, but it was for Gameport, so I didn't buy it for this reason:

This is taken directly from Saiteks website......

Windows 2000/XP
The X36 Gameport is our oldest product and development ceased on the combo back in 1998, shortly before it was discontinued in production. Development will not be started again on this controller because it would be hampered by the fact that the X36 is unlikely to work on any PC that is powerful enough to comfortably run 2000 or XP due to the keyboard pass-through that it uses. This is the source of the programming ability for the stick and on modern-day faster PC's there is too much information coming through on this connection and the stick gets locked up, thus handicapping the full use of the combo. Therefore under 2000 and XP we will only be supporting our current, USB-connected controllers. Sorry for any inconvenience.

If you are using USB I wouldnt have a clue, maybe someone else knows  Sad
