Uploadine files to Simviation (Read 892 times)

I want to upload A scenery file to Simviation. I read the instruction on uploading file, but I'm alittel confused. Can someone help me on the right way to upload a file?

I Like Flight Simulation!
Go to this page
http://www.simviation.com/upload.html
Click on the Browse button for the first file you want to upload.
Search your HD from the popup box and double click on the file you want to upload.
Repeat for additional files, if any, that you want to upload.
Click the Upload button.

How long after uploading a file does it take be for the Simviation people pu it on there site for downloading.

Thank you for your time, and patience in hleping me out with this.
The instruction sed to enclose a Screenshot - JPG or GIF Format, and a File Description in simple txt (Notepad).
was not sher if I should inculde them in the zip file, or seperately. So I inculded them in the zip file, and seperately Is this the rihgtway ?

I'm not a moderator/reviewer, but I think the best practice would be to include the screenies in the zip file. That way no one at SimV has to manually add them.

The easiest method of learning anything is by example. I suggest downloading a few existing scenery files to see how they're configured. Choose one that you find easiest to install then configure your own files in the same way.
The file description, install instructions & the thumbnail screenshot should be included in the zipfile.

I did enclose a Screenshot - JPG in the file, but it that the one that Simv will ues when thay put the file on there website?

Yes, the image and description you included inside the zip file is the one that will be used on the web site. I assume that Pete puts them up manually-probably by just copying and pasting them onto the site. Thats what it seemed like with the things I made in the past. Everything should be put into the zip file.
