Having installed FSUIPC in order to use aircraft radar, and to have random weather patterns, a problem has come up with regard to thunderstorms.  I had installed some very ominous clouds (courtesy FS Skyworld 2002) but for some reason they could not be generated randomly, and the cloud files were added manually into FS2002 > Textures.    Now with FSUIPC the storm clouds are very lame, looks like a bank of gray stratus to one side and clear blue sky everywhere else.  The rest of the cloud effects are excellent and I would like to keep it running if possible.  Wondering if there is any way to edit or modify the FSUIPC in order to ensure that it reads the storm cloud pack that I had manually added, or any other way to overcome this problem.  Alternately, is there a good weather generator for FS2002 that anyone recommends - I have tried installing FS2002 Sky World and it would not load for some reason.  Thanks.

I am sure this will spark a controversy but I think the problem you are having is being caused by FSUIPC it interpets weather one way while your other program uses a diferent way. FSUIPC will convert it to its needs thus giving you the drab clouds. I am not sure if this can be fixed or not. If no one else replyies to this I would suggest you try to contact LEE SWORDY the author of fsuipc he should be able to help you. Sorry I do not have a clue as to how to contact him. I am not a user of fsuipc 8)
