hi all Smiley
i was wonderin what the best PCI card I could get was...
i have a Dell Dim. 2400 (cheap comp., i know Tongue) and it doesnt have any agp Angry Sad Undecided
so i was wonderin what the best pci card i could get would be ???

I was looking at the GeForce FX550 by PNY...

p.s.- im lookin to spend close to $110 but over tht would be ok

I'm not even sure you can buy those anymore.

Its not worth buying more than a $50 card becuase even if the card is very good, the limited bandwidth will bottleneck the the card.

A geforce4 seems ok about now,

There are a few PCI cards

does anyone here have one? Because I know that some of the GeForce cards are available in PCI or AGP...

Also, if you have one would you muind posting some ss's?

Both GEforce and ATI do PCI graphics cards.

I would suggest doing a GOOGLE for the best prices.

i think that a PCI GF3 did exist once...

I have an ATI PCI 9200 and have never had a problem with it.

My AGP card is an ATI 9600 running 2 monitors and the 9200 also runs 2 monitors.

It might not be the best but it sure gets the job done.
