I feel like a nOoB...... Tongue

......but anyways, I can't seem to figure out how the linkages between the wheels on a steam powered train works...

...the only thing that I'm working off of is a top view (which is like shit... Tongue) and a half way decent right side view........and about 50 picutres of the right side of the train taken by none other than my instructor's brother....(thanks alot you moron... Angry)

I'm trying to finish that train by christmas...to go with the 'Polar Express' thing....but from where I'm now....its not gonna happen Sad

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

What 3d software are you using? If it is 3dsMax or gMax, I can send you a sample.

Hey firestriker, I'm using CADKEY (soon to be KeyCreator...damn  Lips Sealed Lips Sealed Lips Sealed).....

But I have gMax installed on my machine, so I it would be nice if you can send me that thing!

BTW, the train I'm making is the 'LION', production stopped in the late 1880s...

Thanks,
Jeff

P.S. I will post shots of my progress later in the week...but out of the 300 or so textures that need to be done, I have done 0!

If it's the Stoubridge Lion (side view at http://www.onnovanbraam.com -> Blueprints->Trains->Trains3)  it's an interesting arrangement.
