Just yesterday I decided to take Aeroworx's King Air for a spin, I just got the plane not too long ago, and im loving it.  My destination will be Castlegar from Calgary.  Yep I know thats the flight in the tutorial, but since Calgary is my home, i decided to try it myself... my own flight plan naturally  Smiley

Starting from Calgary, snows just melting but its just freezing out.  -17 degrees c.  Gotta be sure my anti-ice is working  Wink

Climbing to the mountains

Blankets of snow on the Rockies
...

Descending into castlegar, here it seems to be building up a lot of clouds, yikes.
...

Heres where it got scary, at the elevation of castlegar, about less than 2000 ft as i last remembered, I had almost no visibility, I could not see the runway or anything.  Here im circling around the airfield.  My gear and flaps already down to give me the drag I need as this is a steep and low vis landing... now I know why the tutorial stated this was a difficult approach.

Whew, made it on the ground, and parked.  Lots of snow, eeks
...

Cheers,
RB
