I have two high power P4 based computers with up to date BIOS, ATI 8500 on one, and All in Wonder 9800 on the other, and Intel chipsets with up to date drivers as of a few months ago. But I have never been able to get his B17's to work. I always get an error message that the model cannot be loaded. I have tried the FS2000 model repair by Dave Parsons and that does not work.
I would love to use these planes, they look good.
Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes? Can Ickie help?
Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom. If I remember correctly these aircraft were created with AD2000 & not the more usual FSDS1, FSDS2 or Gmax. In fact, Ickie was one of the few modellers to use this program successfully. Providing you're installing the files correctly I can't think why you're getting that error message or why the model won't display. I haven't seen problems reported with AD2000 aircraft & WinXP. The MDL Repair Utility is intended for MDL files animated with an early version of Aircraft Animator which is not used in AD2000.
