Here's a few more old photos I found & quickly scanned. This Maggie took several months to finish. I'm not sure it had flown when I took these shots. The chap who built it gets more pleasure out of building than flying. He allows a few experienced club members to fly his scale models as he doesn't trust himself to do it. He also built a beautiful scale Lysander that apparently flew very well but I never saw it in the air & have no shots of it. Pity I didn't have my digital camera back then.
I took these at the annual model display at Plumpton Racecourse. One of my favourite venues which I always looked forward to. Unfortunately this event is no longer held as the organiser retired a couple of years ago & nobody else was prepared to take over the responsibilty.
This is a much younger Hagar with a little fun model designed by one of the club members.
Here's another one of my models, a natty little aerobatic slope soarer with the romantic name of the Blob.
Sadly I smashed it up some years ago.

Wow is all I can say Doug
The Maggie is simply stunning!
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
