Apparently I pushed the Griffon in the Real Air Spitfire too hard because I blew the engine outside of Valdez, Alaska. I surpassed myself on the landing though. I dead-sticked the thing in from about 30 miles out, starting at an altitude of around 15,000 feet. I was so busy, I forgot to take pictures of it. I was cruising along, smoke started pouring out of the engine, and then I had a flame out. I'm going to have to clean the seats in this one tonight!
Best damn landing I ever did!
