Hi there,
If anyone is interested in having a look, the link is below. Video is based at Edwards AFB. The video is about 5 minutes long and about 50mb. It takes about 4 minutes to download with cable connection. This video is much smoother than my previous ones, due to a much more powerful computer. I hope you enjoy, and any feedback is much appreciated!

lol, at least your dial-up d/l's faster than my old aol dial-up... I was stuck d/ling around 4-6 if I was lucky!
P.S. Erik, do you have a recommended way to view this file?
WMP 10 comes up and tries to find a codec for it, but fails
ATI Movie player will not recognize it
DivX says that I need a DVD type software.. ???

I'm dissappointed.
I've downloaded the file, but my Media Player 9, DivX and Quicktime players can not recognize the file type.
All players say they are up to date.
Now what???!!!
What do computers and air conditioners have in common?
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I feel bad about some of those download times. 20 minutes - ouch!! With cable it took me just over 2 minutes, but I quoted 5 minutes to be on the safe side!!
As far as codecs, etc. I'm really not sure. I use Windows Media Player 9 and it seems to work fine. I wish I had some other suggestions for you. Other people have told me it seems to work great. If I can think of anything, I'll let you know because I'd really like you all to see it. It did take a long time to make and I'm really proud of it!
Thanks
Eric

Thanks a bunch Eno!
My new system is much more powerful and is able to run everything including Fraps and still produce a smooth video. I am very happy and hope to make another one soon.
Thanks again
Eric

Eric,
When you view your video, are you using the original you created, or the file you zipped and uploaded. Maybe the file is slightly corrupt for some. I'll try another download. I can't wait to see it.

Hi Skittles,
I am using the version that I downloaded, just as you would. I did that to see how well it worked and how long it took to download. Again, it does appear to work fine. I really can't figure out whats wrong. I am uploading it to flightsim.com very soon, so maybe you could give that a try when I do!
Sorry about the wrong forum Ozzy. I had posted videos here before. I thought it was OK. I won't let it happen again.
Thanks
Eric

Impressive, to say the least!
Great angles, light, etc, etc!!
It worked perfectly for me- viewed with WMP 9 series
Great Job.
Also - where did you get those lakebed textures around Edwards? Those looked great from the air and I think there was some neat Edwards AFB scenery in there too. Pray, tell.
