I'm using the latest version of AFCAD and running FS9 on Windows 98. I designed a new airport in the Sahara near Libya, and when I tested the area there was a mountain in the way!  Roll Eyes

Now after I've flattened the extra bit of mountain away ddhelp.exe performs an illegal operation when the flight planner is opened. This is extremely irritatating as I need to restart. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem with AFCAD or the Flatten switch while still preserving my airport?

I wont swear to this but your problem might be related to the fact that you are using windows 98. I would suggest you contact Lee and ask him if afcad will work with windows 98. Lee is the author of AFCAD  you might have to use a different version.

I am not sure. If you have AFCAD check in the readme file. I am at work now and unable to look. I tried searching for Lee Swordy and found no direct link.
But the one thing I did notice was no mention of AFCAD using windows 98.
But that does not mean it will not. Maybe some else her knows how to contact him. 8)
