Hi all, captjim here again.

It seems that when ever I begin a flight, the panel appears to close.  Some of the gauges are not all on the screen or only portions of them.  I know how to change the outside shots, but it's the cockpit view that I need help with. I might add that zooooming the monitor screen is not the answer.  Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Capjim. I'm not sure this will work. Go to FS2002/Settings/Display/Aircraft & make sure the "Resize panel with main window" option is checked.

PS. Please don't take offence but being the pedantic old soul I am. Roll Eyes I had to read your question several times before I understood your problem. The "panel appears to close" & the "panel appears too close" have completely different meanings.

I hope my suggestion is some help. Wink

I had this problem with my last comp after I installed servicepack 4(or something), except it was on fs2004.  No one understood what I was asking!  Where were you then?  Grin  Try turning anti-aliasing off, see if that helps.  It did the trick for me.  (if hagars idea doesnt work)

Sorry but FS9 is getting too complicated for me. Too many variables. The various WinXP service packs & the FS9.1 update makes things worse. I stick to what I know - or think I know. I remember some of these problems cropping up with FS2002 in the past. I'm getting too old for this lark. Roll Eyes Wink

OK Hagar, I admit I.ve always had a problem knowing if it's 2; two; too; or to.  However, you did help and for that I am glad.  Thanks again,  captjim

Sorry Jim. You're not alone & I wasn't trying to be clever. I wouldn't usually comment but this is first time I've ever come across that little letter O completely changing the meaning of a sentence. The culprit is the word "close" which has two meanings itself, near & shut. I really had to read that sentence several times before I understood what you were getting at.

Hope my suggestion fixed your problem. Smiley
