Just d/l'd the T-6 SNJ Trainer package (t6texanv2). Works fine in fs9 but acts weird in 2k2. At first, it would start up then die as soon as the key was released from the "start" position. Now it won't even start - as in dead battery in your car. I installed the same unzipped folders to both sims. All comments welcome - I'm stumped!

Its because the .air file isn´t working with FS2002, I had that with other Aircrafts, too.
Just download another T-6 and get the *.air file in your texans folder, name it like the origninal file, and name your orignal *.air file in sth. else, for example: *.air.bak
Do not replace the aircraft.cfg file, it edits all the things like Camera postition in VC etc.
That should usually work.

Thanks, folks. Actually, I kind of went at this sideways. Moved an add-on panel (J. Lemmers) into the a/c, found the master power switch (which I couldn't find on the supplied panel), cracked the throttle some, and voila!! Starts and runs fine. I haven't tried swapping .air files, maybe someone has a recommended basic T-6 to start with. Paul

Hi Dodger,
Where did you get the T-6 for FS9? What's the file name?
Thanks,
Chief
