I suppose its a cheap way to counter market the 7E7 - change the materials of some parts and redesign the wing tips, very much as Boeing did on the newer 737s.

Boeing did a TAD more than that to the 737NGs   Smiley

Regarding bleedless engines, how will they solve the air conditioning and anti-ice issues?
Any schematics on that?
Maybe electromagnetic or vibrating deicing will be introduced on commercial airliners, or even the weeping wing  Grin
