"Bicyclist, 2 children injured in belt accidents"
I didnt make that one up, it was real, and I laughed for a good 20 minutes. It actually makes sense when you read the article. Anyone else got one?

That just shows you how nothing ever happens in the dark heathlands beyond the Tamar.

I remember ages ago a headline that was in the local newspaper here. "Mother and four children missing."
Sadly this is a case of a newspaper missing the boat completely as on the same day that the newspaper was released three body's were found under the wood pile at their house and the other two were found buried in a field a few miles off. I believe the stepfather was sent down for life.

I don't know this one might beat that:
"Cow Gives Birth to Newborn Calf"
From my local paper, this was a actuall headline story.
Yes not much to write about here, especially after tourist season, but not all of us are stupid.
Hell what else would a cow give birth too a full grown cow???

not a headline, but still funny: in a hunting catalogue, under the description for a gun you can order it said "*free hardwood case not included".
