Hello everyone Smiley, am new here and look forward to finding info to help expand the enjoyment of the FS experience.  I am desigining a unique aircraft using FSDS V2 and have run into a few problems, hope someone here might be able to provide some advice.  The problem at hand concerns control surfaces, the design in question features canards as well as combined spoilers/elevons, sort of like the wingtip ailerons on the A-10 Warthog.  Obviously the canards need to move in opposite direction as compared to standard elevators, and as for the latter, it looks like the only way around it is to try to tag the parts for two functions simultaneously, if indeed this is at all possible.  There is no apparent means to tag these parts for animation.  Does anyone know of a way to adjust the commands for the default parts (e.g., to reverse the elevator's rotation), or to add additional control surface names that may be recognized for proper animation?  Any help, suggestions, etc., would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Brian

For your canards (for modelling purposes - your "forward elevators")  just rotate your pivot point 180 degrees around the y axis.

(Transform->Rotate;  x=0, y=180, z=0  and click "axis only")
