There's a first for everything they say, so here are my first pics of the ESDG Citation X.

Taking off from Lisbon (LPPT)
...

Cockpit shot during climbout
...

The livery is available at AVSIM, it's actually the colros of golfer Arnold Palmer's Citation X  Smiley
...

Welcome to the office again, here at FL450. Currently flying at M .85, temperature outside is -60 degrees Celcius, that would be 4 degrees colder than ISA  Smiley
...

About to cross the bay of Biscay on the spanish side
...

Seen here cruising to a destination unknown (not really I flew to Oslo in Norway  Wink )
...

BTW, does anybody know if there's a decent fuelplanner for this bird?  That would be great  Smiley

that's what you get with a Radeon GFX card, with all the goodies cranked to max (I also choose the light FPS model)  Smiley

Now, how 'bout that fuelplanner?  Grin

240kts Indicated...442kts on the ground speed...90% on the throttles and 745"pounds per hour" on the fuel flow! You dont' need a fuel planner...Just pull back on the throttles!!! Grin
Absolutley gorgeous screen grabs...The last one looks photo-real!

Get this, the fuelplanner for FS2004 suggested that 1600kgs (3500lbs) would be used during the flight, and since I did not have any real fuelplanner I bought it, so I fueled her up with 1600kgs.  But due to a constant headwind I actually ran out of fuel, and had to refuel at EHAM (Amsterdam)  Grin

What I should've done was a basic fuel planning

Take FF at cruise and multiply that by flight duration (hours)
Add 3000lbs for take-off and taxi, aswell as 1000lbs for reserves.

FF was about 800 during most stages of the cruise, so 1600lbs/hour (it's twin engine)
Duration was about 3.3 hours (3hrs 21mins)
So now we have 5280lbs plus 3000lbs (takeoff/taxi) = 8280lbs, and add the 1000lbs as reserves= 9280lbs/~ 4.200kgs

So calculated fuel burn is 9280lbs or 4.200kgs.
4.200kgs that's more like it!
My trip was just 400nm short of maximum range for the Citation X (which is 3250nm), and it can carry 5.890kgs of fuel.
FS suggested that just 1600kgs would get me 2800nm
LOL...I should've known better.  Grin  Grin

So on the EFIS 031degrees at 44 kts...With a heading of 044 degrees...Yeah, alittle bit of head wind.
Look around... Somebody has to have a fuel planner?
I've never paid much attention to FS-9 Est. fuel useage any way. Most of the time It's prop driven GA for me. Anything over 45-50gph scares me!

Excellent shots as always Nexus!

And the FS fuel planner is about as reliable as a Yugo without oil. You might get that kind of fuel usage if you had a hurricane blowing up your rear

Nexus, you wait THIS long to give us (me) an accurate fuel planning model? ARRRRGHHH! I just checked it against my last three logs and it works almost perfectly.  Now to write this down before my attention span expires... what were we talking about?  ???

O yea, and nice pics too  Smiley

hehe, you're welcome Beefhole.
It works pretty good, but I'd like to see how my fuelplanning compares to a real CX fuelplanner  Smiley

Wow, thanks alot!

Eaglesoft has got their citation X specs mighty close to the real thing.
It will make the fuelplanning somewhat easier, so again, thank you  Smiley

True.  They're not compatible with ME or '98.
