Got Medal of Honor.....Pacific Assault the other day. This is an awesome game. Story line is great  with incredible pics to go along with it.

First time a Jap soldier Bonzai charged me I crapped on myself. Enemy AI is really good on this one. Those guys will make you waste a lot of ammo when they do their duck and cover routine.

Highly recommend this one. If you liked the other MoH games...Assault, Spearhead or Breakthrough then you are really gonna love this one.

Sounds good!
I was looking at it this morning and was thinking of buying it, but..
My rig isn't the best when it  comes to the newer games for example Painkiller, Farcry won't even get close to wanting to run decent enough to hassle with them.
I wonder if it would br the same with this???

This one has a set up program when you start the game up. Lots of options to tone it down if you need to.

Check the box though, as only the relatively newer Vid cards are supported.

I would say that with this one it is worth a shot, especially if you are at least in the 1 GHz or higher range, good amount of memory and a decent Vid card.

This one is much LESS intense than Painkiller, which I have.

Also, in the instruction booklet it says play the game with disc #1....NOT!!!!! Disc #4 is needed.  Where have I seen this error before?? lol

Might take a look at this one.
Especially after having wathed "The thin red line" yesterday.
Awesome movie, way better and deeper than "Saving Pvt. Ryan"!

Pacific Assault seems to really make an attempt to get you to feel what these guys must have been feeling in the storyline, which is awesome in itself. To me, with my imagination, I can actually feel the fear and dread they are trying to portray in between each mission. Speaking of missions, there are lots of them. Not only are you a regular boot that goes through boot camp; and you will love the DI there and his witticisms, but you also get to save lives, find hidden objectives that earn you extra medals, fly a Dauntless, etc. The Pearl Harbour attack is AWESOME and they really set you up in it well.

I forgot to mention in the previous post about the set up utility, it is VERY easy to tone down graphics etc, not near as complicated with a myriad of options like FS9.

I also noticed that when I run a higher refresh rate other than the game default 60 Mhz, the screen shots in the story line didn't load up. Game still played fine though. So I went back into the utilitly and hit "Default" and all the screenies in the storyline show up. Others might not have this problem and I am still experimenting with that.

Politically Incorrect; and I love that name, lol; if you are flying FS9 on your machine, then I would say MOH Pacific Assault will play, providing you have a relatively newer graphics card, 128 MB and fair amount of RAM.

I have a trusty Dell Dimension 4500 with 768 RAM and a GeForce FX 5200.
FS9 runs great, and M.O.H-  A.A., and Spearhead run fine only trouble I could never fix was some of the weapons having no sound but other than that flawless.
Might have to give it a shot!
I have also noticed that a lot of newer games are coming out to be run on a DVD drive so I guess another upgrade is needed.

I found some of the weapons wouldn't have sound IF I was using the cheat. That was the only time I wouldn't have sound on certain weapons. lol

HMMM, never thought of that, I did have the cheats enabled but never really used them much. I must try a clean install and see what happens.
