hey guys, I need some help with this new super hornet thats out and about. I havent got fs2004 but tried it on my fs2002 and it works great, the only problem i have is with the speed indicater. When im using it the speed hardly moves on the panel only goes to like 45 when im at full power and going at high speed.

If any of you have any thoughts on why this is or if its a case of having to use fs2004 or something. Im hoping i can fix the problem so I can enjoy it in fs2002.

please please leave a note if you may have an idea thanks.

Hey that should be easy to fix! Have a look in the folder that holds the aircrafts panel and post the contents of the panel.cfg. Open it in notepad and copy paste as usual. The problem is either there, in the *.gau programming or in your installation. Im going to bet on the programming. Get going!

Or are you sure, it isn´t the Mach-meter, the gauge that shows the speed, and it shows 0.45, or .45 and that is the sonic speed, Mach 1 is the sonic speed, also something with 600 Knots, so Mach 0.45 would be something like 300 Knots per Hour.

If it IS supposed to be the IAS indicator, and it actually IS showing the mach speed, then it MUST be a coding ERROR.

k ive just tried a hole load of things, 3 different panels.

With their aircraft they run IAS speed fine. These include the F15 panel i want to use for the f-18, a cessna panel, and the default 737 panel.

When I tried the f-18 with anyone of these 3 panels the same thing happend the IAS hardly moved the max ive got it to is 45. So its something to do with the f-18 but im lost as to what it could be. The plane works fine ie handling, views etc but the IAS isnt matching the speed im actual going  Sad  Sad  Sad
