I'm connected via a router  so unless its turned off or reset then the IP remains the same ......... so power cuts or other acts of  God  not withstanding there shouldn't be any change. If there is then I'd let you all know.

Speaking of routers and ip addresses of routers...

HOW DO I find out what my router ip address is?

I'm running the Dlink 604 wired router, and I can obtain an ip address using the IPCONFIG command or by doing a quick search online via a web-site designed to tell me what my ip address is...

The ip address I obtain via ipconfig would be the ip of my system, correct?

and the address  obtained via the internet search would give me the ip address of my router right?

Then if I were to host a flight sim game via my computer the ip address that I would give out to get people to join the flight would be the ip that I obtained via the internet right?

I tried to do this the other night when I went flying with Ender, but for whatever reason it didn't want to work and I'm not quite sure why.  Is there something else that I need to do as well??

Any information would be extremely helpful,

thanks in advance...

Jared
