I saw a post a few weeks ago concerning problems controlling an SR-71.  I don't know where they got theirs from.  I downloaded one from Absquad.  It seems pretty nice and is exhilarating to take off in.  It climbs to 100,000 ft. so fast you barely have time to figure out where the gauges are on the panel or even get the gear up.  Once up there, though, it is almost impossible to control.   It has auto pilot controls on the panel, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Hi ditto, I have flown SR71's on the sim, but not that one. My advice:

Read any manuals / readme's that come with the *.zip.
Fly up to around 7-10'000 ft and reasonably slow (400Kts ish) and get the feel of the thing. Work out the autopilot, it should work. I find that I can't fly it manually above 80'000 any way.

Try that out.

I had never heard of absquad but Google turned up a site.  I couldn't find an SR-71 on there as they were mostly WW2 types.

Can you furnish a link to the file?

I suspect the AP problem lies in the aircraft.cfg file but I can't tell more without dl'ing the file.
