He said he was "testing" it.  How many simmers go under IFR to test out a brand new plane they've just dled?  I sure as hell don't.  See, I use my brain occasionally.  Grin

Btw, thanks, I knew the collision avoidance system part, I just forgot wether the T stood for traffic or terrain.  Tongue

What kind of King AIr was it?
Because if that aircraft had 10 seats or more it MUST have an approved GPWS system, according to the FARs, and AFAIK, King Airs do have more than 10 seats, don't they?

Not sure, my dad was telling me about it and he's not "one of us", so maybe he got it wrong but I believe this was the plane carrying the owner of that NASCAR team, it was a pretty big story it could probably be looked up real fast. And I think they said this aircraft was scheduled to get a GPWS, it just hadn't recieved it yet.

But I definitely didn't make up the story just to one-up you, no...  Roll Eyes don't make eye contact beef... keep it together...  Grin
