I just finished my first repaint.  Its a repaint of the infamous F-16 Viper by Kirk Olsson.  It is done in the "charcoal lizard" camo scheme for the experimental F/A-16.  The idea was to use the F-16 as a replacement for the A-10.  In all, I think 9 aircraft were painted with this paint scheme.  If anyone can tell me how exactly I need to go about uploading it to the site, I will do so.  I know I have to have a file description and a screenshot, but I'm not sure if I have to upload them seperate or within the .zip file.

That's pretty good-lookin!

To upload a file, you need the following in a zip:

The textures (duh!) Grin

A readme.  This needs to contain a few things that people might find pertinent to the repaint, as well as the entry that goes in the aircraft.cfg so others can simply copy it and paste.  Replace the number in the [fltsim.5] with [fltsim.x], then tell them to replace it with a sequential number.  It also needs to contain your name, email and the author info.  THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT!  Do not leave that stuff out . . .

A screenshot of the repaint.  This needs to be small, not too many kbs, and needs to show the aircraft obviously.

That's pretty much it.  Unless you want something specific to be shown in the blurb next to where it gets downloaded from.  In that case, add another little doc titled "Admin" or something, that contains the info.

Take a look at other repaint downloads to get an idea of what I mean.
