I just start up Winamp, select my favorite music, play it, minimize Winamp and start up FS9. Fly around the world while listening to the best tunes. No problems with installing something in a .cfg file or whatever. Have fun..... 8)

"RadioCD" is what I use also. It plays MP3/WMA/WAV/MID.  in addition to CDs with a car stereo/winamp like interface that  easily installs as a guage with any panel.

Through experience, I have discovered that there are only a few ac that I wished to install it on like a sailplane, or a few GA ac like the  default j3 Cub and Brovo and such
I can do with out the music on the others.

A problem I have with winamp is it gets to be a bit contrived at times like when you want to change the volume, songs or, when simply tunrng it off.

I had the same thought myself yesterday! What I tryed was just sliding a CD into the drive. It works great! Grin. First I pushed on the little Microsoft flag button. It paused the flight and I was sent back to desktop. Then I just slid in the CD and my music match program or any other I would think started playing. Then minimize what ever player you have and click on the flight simulator button on the toolbar below. Unpause the flight, Press "Q" and crank up the sounds. I went to Virtual Cockpit mode, listened to Led Zepplin and watched the clouds go by. ( On Auto Pilot  Shocked)  PS. I just cant figure out how to get those radios to work!

No, it doesn't but it's a neat guage anyway. Just have to watch and listen carefully for ATC. It's got most of the functions of a  real CD Player though. You can choose tracks adjust the volume and even open and close your CD drive door from the cockpit. I've installed it on a lot of my airplanes.
