Hi guys,

I am beginning to look into laptops, since I'll be needing one next year.

I've been admiring the Sony Viao A Series notebooks.  Would anyone have a clue if they'd be capable of gaming?

Here's the specs of the one I like:

- Centrino 1.7/2.0GHz processor with a 2MB L2 cache.

- 1GB Ram.

- 64MB Radeon 9700.

- 100GB HDD.

You get the picture.

Does anyone know how this performs with gaming in general, not just flightsim.  I have no clue how the centrino performs with gaming, even though I know that it's quick, and the 64Mb of card memory has me a little confused on perfromance.

Thanks,

Greg

Yeah I know I've been looking at all sorts of laptops, alienware Area-51, viaos, and the list goes on, but thanks for the reply.

I was really wondering how the centrino performs with games.  I know it's quick considering it's got a 2MB L2 cache, I just have no idea how it performs with games.

Thanks,
Greg
