You can't go wrong with a picture of yourself when it comes to aviation, right? lol  These two are pics my dad took of me taking up my sister a few years ago.   I'd have to say, the soft-field takeoff was by far my favorite maneuver... it just feels so good going down the runway with that nose wheel up... lifting the mains just a few inches off the runway, accelerating at that low altitude, then climbing out.  Mmm, fun!  And BTW, the wingspan of this beautiful little Cessna 150 is about 4 feet longer than the runway is wide.

I used to have some AWESOME shots of me landing that my sis took but don't know where they are. Sad  Oh well, guess I'll have to go out and do it again. Cheesy

Here's a pic of the airport owners aircraft, a Cessna 421.  Amazingly, he takes this thing out of the 1,800 foot strip all the time!  Pretty sweet!
...

Being the Hornet freak that I am, I had to include these...

Early morning runup in Seattle.  Mmm.. look at that landing gear.  Personally, I don't think any aircraft can match the smooth lines and graceful curves of the Hornet.

Arrivals day in Seattle... Beautiful Mt. Rainier in the background.
...

Diamond 360 in Abbotsford BC last summer.
...

Blue Angels landing... perfect little park at the end of Boeing field... very convenient. Cheesy

A little closer shot...

working end of two GE-F-404-400 turbofan engines.

Blue Angel "Dirty Clean Flatpass" at Abbotsford BC last summer.

Hope you enjoy 'em all!  Lemme know what ya think. Smiley

Nice work, #5 is very well composed. Now for the burning question I ask everyone: what kind of camera did you use?

Which airport were you flying out of.  I used to fly out of Tacoma Narrows.  A nice 5000' runway is very forgiving.  The shortest-narrowest strip I have gone into is probably Harvey Field. Grin

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you like the pictures.  The first three were taken with a Cannon Rebel SLR and a 90mm lense, then the last five were taken with the same camera, except with a 90-300mm telephoto.  The middle two BA shots (of them on the ground) were taken with an Olympus digital camera.  Also, the pictures in my Avitar were taken with the Cannon... the headon shots are ones I took. Cheesy

Hey small world, I've been to Tacoma a few times, beautiful approach over there!  It's awesome coming in over the water. Smiley  These weren't taken too far from Harveys, it's W16, First Air in Monroe.  Not many people like the approach for 25 up there, as you have to come in steeper than normal due to the horse barns and stuff at the fairgrounds.
I worked as a lineman at Harveys over the summer... cool place, lots of activity there!
