Is this a stand alone sim or add-on to IL2?

I think it is either.  You dont require IL2 to play it though if I remeber rightly.

It is a standalone, but if you want you can have it as an expansion to IL-2 Cheesy

From my brief meanderings around in the A20, Seafire, B25 and Beaufighter, it seems up to the same standard as Il2 and FB were. Got some very nice aeroplanes...

That is what I wondered. I could never get IL2 to run good on my system don't know why?
But I'm interested in Pacific Fighters but didn't want to give it a whirl if IL2 is needed Wink
Of course though if IL2 doesn't run good chances are either will this!

IL2 should run fine on your PC, at any rate, reports are that PF is slightly better in FPS.

There are 2 compatibility modes which are seperate:

1. Standalone PF

2. IL@ + AEP + patches...2.01, 2.04 + PF

Also, IL2 FB + AEP + patches is not compatible with either of the above from what I've been told.

The multi configuration is thought to be causing probs online at least.....  Our Squad is using the standalone install, or IL2 FB AEP..... seperate.
