I seem to recall having problems with AI in the past regarding the aircraft themselves - I had an AI Airbus that just would not work, and I tried 3 other models until I found one that did work/show up.

Well, I've got a similar problem now.

The flight plan itself is fine, I tested it with an AI bird that I know works.

The model in question is a Tupolev Tu-95; I used the .air file from an AI Aurora, and modified the aircraft.cfg, but the aircraft doesn't seem to want to appear in FS.

How would one go about "AI-ifying" existing aircraft? Properly, that is.

I've also had one aircraft that wouldn't work no matter how much I tried.  I think there are certain planes, especially large ones, that just won't work as AI.

Well... I got them to show up... temporarily.

When I load up at the airport they 'drop from the sky' and bounce, then dissapear.  Weird thing is, the contact points are set to what they're supposed to be.   Sad

Now this is just getting silly.  I turned a few planes (Mig19, Galeb and others) into AI using GA-Traffic, but they won't show up for some odd reason.  This sure is frying my brains...
